Antigone
Antigone is a tragedy play by the philosopher Sophocles. It is the story of the daughter of Oedipus and sister of Polynices and Eteocles. But it is also the story other uncle Creon and how his pride leads him to his tragic end. Creon has created a law that Antigone's older brother, Polynices, is not to be buried thus his soul suffer forever. Antigone, realizing the consequences, intends to bury him anyway. When she is discovered by Creon, he refuses to take back his law because he thought it would make people see him as an weak leader. But this proves to be his downfall in this classic Greek tragedy.
